Navagraha Temples Tour

Visit all 9 planetary temples around Kumbakonam, Mayiladuthurai and Thanjavur district in one dedicated trip — with a car and driver who knows the route and the rituals.

Nine Temples, One Sacred Circuit

The Navagraha Temples are nine Chola-era shrines dedicated to the nine planetary deities of Hindu astrology, spread across villages near Kumbakonam and Mayiladuthurai. Devotees visit to seek blessings and ease the effects of difficult planetary positions in their horoscope. The full circuit can be covered in one long day or comfortably over two.
